Pupils and staff must isolate after confirmed Covid-19 case at Rhyl School

A total of 8 pupils and 10 members of staff at Christchurch School, Rhyl, will be required to self-isolate until January 31 following a confirmed Covid-19 case associated with the school.

Two pupils and 12 staff at Ysgol Y Castell, Rhuddlan, will be required to self-isolate until January 29 following a confirmed Covid 19 case associated with the school. Ysgol Y Castell will be closed to all pupils (including vulnerable learners and children of critical workers) and is expected to re-open on February 1

Three pupils and two members of staff at Ysgol Y Parc, Denbigh will be required to self-isolate until February 1 following a confirmed Covid 19 case associated with the school.

All parents and carers have been informed and both the Local Authority and the schools have consulted with Public Health Wales.

Christchurch School, Rhyl and Ysgol Y Parc, Denbigh remain open for vulnerable learners or learners who have parents that are key workers and is working closely with Public Health Wales, the Local Authority and NHS Wales Test, Trace and Protect to ensure that all the appropriate measures are in place to protect students, staff and the wider community.
