2024 March For Business Month helps hundreds of local business people

The Council’s March For Business Month is held during the month of March and aims to provide valuable and insightful information to local Denbighshire businesses.

This year saw over 340 attendees across the month, many of which were provided with free business advice and guidance, with access to training also available.

The Business Month has been running since 2016, and was resumed last year after a hiatus due to the impact of the pandemic.

2024’s March for Business Month saw a hybrid mix of training, consisting of in-person and online events, allowing businesses from all over the county to engage with professional business advisors.

In collaboration with many local business support providers, a number of different types of events were hosted, including practical training, information updates, networking opportunities, tourism forums, a business dinner, and an awards event. Key business topics such as Starting and Running a business and Managing your Finance and Tax were covered during the month, providing key information to both existing and prospective business owners.

Emlyn Jones, Head of Planning, Public Protection & Countryside Services said:

“It was great to see so many businesses get involved with March for Business this year, we hope businesses gained some valuable information and benefited from the networking opportunities.

The March for Business month helps support all businesses in Denbighshire, both across our towns and more rural areas through a blend of in person and online events. This reflects one of the Council’s corporate priorities of a prosperous Denbighshire.

We would like to thank all who supported the business month for 2024, including the many partners that the Council worked with.”
