Green Light for £2.7m Classroom and Community Hub in Gwyddelwern
Plans for a new classroom, state-of-the-art kitchen, and community hub at Ysgol Bro Elwern in Gwyddelwern have moved forward after Denbighshire County Council’s Cabinet approved the tender process. Funded by Welsh Government grants and UK Government support for rural heritage and wellbeing, the £2.7m scheme will deliver modern school facilities alongside a large hall and meeting space for local groups, including Cylch Meithrin, Merched y Wawr, and the Post Office. Councillors hailed the project as a “valuable asset” for the village once complete.
