Denbighshire Housing’s Tenants Awards 2022 is now open for nominations.
The prestigious awards event is a chance to nominate tenants and celebrate their achievements and participation from across the county, for the work they do within their communities and projects that are happening across the County.
The event, to be held at 1891 Restaurant in Rhyl, will celebrate all that tenants and communities achieve as well as showcasing projects they are involved in across Denbighshire.
Sponsoring the awards this year will be Brenig Construction who are the lead contractor on the Llwyn Eirin project in Denbigh which contains the first new council homes to be designed and built for the Denbighshire area in 30 years.
Our award categories will include:
• Tenant of the year
• Young tenant of the year (under 25)
• Good Neighbour of the Year
• Housing resident / Community Group of the year
• Customer services award for Denbighshire Housing
• Community projects of the year
• Community Hero
• Garden of the year – Community area
• Garden of the year – Tenant/individual
• Garden of the Year – Communal area
• Lockdown Hero
Cllr Rhys Thomas, Lead Member for Housing and Communities, said: “Day in day out we see a huge amount of positive work going on throughout our communities led by our tenants to help support and improve the quality of life for all.

“Hosting these awards is a fantastic way to celebrate and honour the achievements made by individuals and communities and we encourage nominations from across Denbighshire Communities.”
