Moneypenny, the leading customer conversations company, has hailed the success of an action-packed two-day event it hosted in partnership with Rayner Personnel, bringing together more than 50 local leading figures from across the UK property sector.
Held at Moneypenny’s award-winning Wrexham HQ, the programme combined expert insight, panel discussions, and practical workshops with unique local experiences giving delegates a taste of the very best of Wrexham.

Delegates enjoyed a rich mix of learning, networking, and local experiences over the course of the two days. They took part in lively panel discussions and practical workshops, explored Moneypenny’s award-winning offices frequently described as one of the UK’s happiest workplaces and sat down to a memorable lunch there too.

There was also plenty of time to connect away from the conference room. Guests visited Wrexham’s historic Racecourse Ground, enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium and its club shop, and relaxed over drinks at the iconic Turf pub. A friendly five-a-side football match at Wrexham University gave sporting delegates the chance to show off their skills, while others took the opportunity to network in a more informal setting. “Last night was amazing, there was so much chance to network. I got four leads in just a couple of hours. It has been so much fun,” commented Sarah Blair from Kerfuffle.

Panel participants praised the supportive atmosphere. “It has been great to step outside of my comfort zone for my panel debut! It really helped how welcoming the venue felt and not to forget the wonderful food,” said Jess Lynch from Complete ASAP.
Attendees from Cavendish added: “I have got to say it was the best event I have been to. Really fun and engaging! The choice of speakers and panellists was perfect. The intimate venue made it so easy to relax and connect,” said David Adam and Phil Shakeshaft.
As the event drew to a close, Sion Davies from SPD Advisory summed up the mood: “It’s been great, such a fantastic event. I have really enjoyed it.”

Lauren Williams, Business Development Manager for Property at Moneypenny said:
“We were thrilled to welcome so many brilliant people from across the property industry to our home in Wrexham. The atmosphere across both days was incredible, full of ideas, energy and collaboration. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase not only Moneypenny and Rayner Personnel but also everything our city has to offer.”

Russell Jervis Group Managing Director at Rayner Personnel comments: What a fantastic event. While feedback from guests during the day is always polite and positive, it’s often on the journey home that you hear the true impact. Comments like, ‘That was an amazing event, I loved the speakers, the football icebreaker was brilliant, I’ve made great connections and can’t wait for the next one,’ confirm that we really hit the mark.”
The event demonstrated the strength and innovation within the property sector, while shining a spotlight on Wrexham as a vibrant destination for business, culture and sport
