New Llandudno Visitors Centre Opens in Victoria Shopping Centre
A new visitor information hub has opened at the Victoria Shopping Centre, ensuring a dedicated
tourism presence remains in the heart of the town.
The Llandudno Visitor Centre, launched by Mostyn Estates, follows the relocation of the former
Tourist Information Centre from the shopping complex to Venue Cymru.
The new centre provides visitors with information on attractions, accommodation, events and
experiences across Llandudno and the wider Conwy County area.
The opening comes amid concerns from residents and businesses about the loss of visitor
services from the town centre. The Llandudno Visitor Centre complements the town’s existing
tourism infrastructure by providing an additional visitor information hub in a convenient town
centre location.
As well as helping visitors make the most of their stay, the new centre is expected to boost
footfall for surrounding businesses, encourage tourism across the town, and support companies
all across Llandudno with promotional services.
New luggage lockers have also opened inside the Shopping Centre, giving visitors somewhere
to leave their bags or luggage while spending time in the town. This is a brand new facility to the
area, available to both visitors and local shoppers.
A spokesperson for the project said: “We are delighted to open the new Llandudno Visitor
Centre at the Victoria Shopping Centre. This is about giving residents, businesses and visitors
what they want – a dedicated tourism hub in the heart of the town.
“The centre helps showcase everything Llandudno has to offer, not only enhancing the
visitor experience but also contributing to the continued success of the resort. By retaining
a visitor information presence in the town centre, we hope to encourage more people to
explore the area, support local businesses and spend more time in Llandudno.”
