Redrow launches latest North Wales Homes
AWARD-WINNING builder Redrow is set to launch its latest development in Flintshire with the arrival of Millstone View in Penymynydd.
Visitors can view the location and plans from Saturday, February 2, when Redrow will open an on-site sales office, off Chester Road, and expert staff will be on hand to offer more information and invite reservations.
“There has been plenty of interest in Millstone View and we are delighted to finally be able to welcome people and show them what an amazing development it’s going to be,” said Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW).
“We will have a wide variety of house styles available, all from our Heritage Collection which combines traditional Arts & Crafts inspired architecture with modern, spacious interiors, and it’s in a very desirable area.
“Of course, we can’t take credit for the beautiful countryside that surrounds it, but we are delighted with the location, which also boasts local schools within walking distance for families and proximity to the motorway network for commuters; and it’s just five miles from Chester.”
Millstone View will feature 186 homes – including 27 affordable properties – and follows the success of neighbouring Heritage Park, for which Redrow created the new White Lion Nature Reserve.
Prices for private-sale homes at Millstone View are set to start in the region of £240,000 for a range of three-bedroom semis and three and four-bedroom detached houses.
Four fully furnished show homes are due to open in summer but, until then, Redrow will be taking ‘off-plan’ reservations.
“By reserving early in the process, customers will have the first pick of plot location, the best opportunity to personalise their home with specification choices, extras and upgrades via My Redrow and the advantage of pre-show home prices,” Jason added.
Millstone View will include an example of Redrow’s new Lifestyle Homes, which have fewer but larger bedrooms than usual.
The Oxford Lifestyle is built on the footprint of what would normally be a four-bedroom house. So, while the ground floor is the same as its four-bedroom counterpart, the Lifestyle version has three larger bedrooms with the added luxury of each having an en-suite and the master bedroom boasting a walk-through dressing room.
“The Oxford Lifestyle lends itself to downsizers who want fewer bedroom but plenty of space, families with older children who want their privacy or simply those who like to entertain and offer their guests hotel-style amenities. It’s a lovely home,” said Jason.
“But there will be 10 different house designs coming soon to Millstone View, offering plenty of choice for lots of different consumers. Help to Buy – Wales will be available on homes under £300,000, providing an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price; and those with an existing property to sell will be able to sign up for Redrow’s Help to Sell incentive, which should save them time, effort and money.”
As well as providing new homes, Millstone View will bring a number of community benefits, including affordable homes both on and off-site, £930,000 towards local education and Redrow will provide and manage greenspace areas and aid highways improvements.
Redrow has also earmarked a voluntary community fund of £10,000 for groups and good causes in Penymynydd, Penyffordd and surrounding villages. Altogether, 14 projects have been chosen to benefit, including schools, sports clubs, a library and a rambling group after applications were sought.
Millstone View will open for sales from Saturday, February 2, but further information is also available from www.redrow.co.uk/millstone or by calling 01244 432832.
