Supertemps unveils new-look team at it’s popular Bangor office
Growing North Wales Recruiter Supertemps has promoted senior recruitment Vicki Armstrong-Smith to business manager.
Vicki will be based at the company’s Parc Menai base along with trainee recruitment consultants Stephani Yau-Jones and Hannah Martland, who joined the fast-growing firm in the summer.
Supertemps has enjoyed a stellar year and taken on new staff in its construction division, as well as executive business S2 Recruitment.
Vicki has been with the company – which also has sites in Colwyn Bay and on Anglesey, with plans for another in north east Wales – for six years and risen through the ranks to lead the Gwynedd branch into a new era.
“I’m delighted to be in this new role with two determined and enthusiastic young recruiters by my side,” she said.
“For me personally it’s a proud moment and I look forward to taking the business forward in Gwynedd and Anglesey, as we continue to focus on delivering the first-class service our clients expect.
“We all complement each other well and have already seen a lot of new and repeat business, so we’re off to a great start.”
Vicki said they are looking to develop the commercial side of the business and have already experienced a rise in the number of permanent positions in a variety of sectors in north west Wales, notably administrative and HR roles.
“There are a lot of great businesses in this region and we have a fantastic relationship with them,” added Vicki, who lives in Colwyn Bay with husband Iestyn and son Joshua, 15.
“We are an approachable and friendly team who work closely together and look forward to building on these partnerships and forging new ones as we enter the new year.”
Managing director Sarah Ellwood added:
“I’m confident we have the right people in place to drive us forward into 2019 on the front foot.
“I would like to congratulate Vicki on her new role and know she will do a terrific job of taking our presence in Bangor to the next level with candidates and clients.”
